Wedding Day Woes? Not With Matching Ties and Socks!

Matching Your Ties and Socks For Your Wedding Day

Getting married is a major step in one's life. It shows commitment, confidence, loyalty, and love. Your outfit should show the same. Most of the time, you only get one chance to get it right and you know your fiancé wants everything to be perfect that day. Show her and the rest of your guests just how well you clean up by picking out the perfect suit and accessories.

Men don't have nearly as many accessories as women, so it is important to look good with what you've got. It's also important to pick out quality items. You can spend a little extra on yourself for your big day. Typically men and groomsmen wear suits in the colors of black, white/cream, grey and navy blue. After picking out the perfect suit, you have to find the perfect tie and socks. Since the suits will most likely be a neutral color, opt for accessories that give a pop of color. You may also want to choose a funky pattern to add a little zing and class to the look. You can go as tame or as wild as you want just as long as you don't break the golden rule of matching your tie and socks.

The tie is what ties the entire outfit together, no pun intended, and the socks should compliment the tie. It is a must to make your tie and socks match otherwise you won't look put together. Make sure your groomsmen follow this rule as well. This is a big day and you don't want to feel self-conscious about your outfit. When you look great, you will automatically feel great and when you feel great, you're going to have a great time.

Another reason to match your tie and socks is to coordinate well with the groomsmen. The last thing you want, is to take a photo and have everyone looking goofy and unstylish. Your photos will look so sharp if you are all coordinating correctly. You will look like something out of a GQ magazine.

Trust us on this rule and tip, your fiancé can thank us later. Your wedding day should be spent having fun and being in love and not worrying about what other's are thinking of your outfit.
